Connected workflow from Telegram to a WooCommerce order

Project brief

Implement a protected entry point into WooCommerce, prepare the cart automatically and preserve the Telegram ID throughout checkout.

What was delivered

• handler for the encrypted incoming link
• decryption and validation of supplied parameters
• automatic addition of the required product and quantity to the cart
• retrieval of the Telegram ID from the incoming flow
• storage of the identifier in the WooCommerce session
• display of the identifier in checkout as a read-only value
• persistence of the Telegram ID in order data
• cleanup of temporary data after the workflow completes

My role

Designed the data flow, developed the server-side handler and integrated it with the WooCommerce cart, checkout, session and order metadata.

Outcome

Users arrive from Telegram with the correct cart already prepared, and the resulting order retains its technical link to the originating Telegram user. Workflow parameters are not exposed in plain text in the URL.

Verification

• The delivered work has been confirmed by the owner; the client domain and user data are not disclosed.
